Rakow

Australian visitor Jon Janmaat rediscovering his family's Prussian ancestral roots in and around the towns of Swiebodzin and Sulechow in former East Brandenburg / Neumark. If one knows where to look German-era inscriptions, monuments, sculptures can still be found in this part of present day Poland. This picture illustrates some 17th century German monuments hidden away in the out-of-the-way Lubuskie village of Rakow.
